Zion UMC
Zion United Methodist Church, where the saints have gathered since 1859, is located at Historic Spotsylvania Courthouse. Zion is actively involved in Worship, Education, Service and Fellowship. Worship service is at 11 a.m. Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m.
We have classes for preschool, elementary, youth, Mid-Life Servants and Seniors. In June/July we had an extra service “Alive at Five.” on Sundays. Our UMW and UMM are active and we have a variety of small group opportunities available. We have a Food Pantry on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 4-6 p.m.
In June-Aug, we have the Son’s Fun Club every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for preschool and elementary children. Our ladies are busy making prayer shawls and quilts.
