Ebenezer UMC
Ebenezer is an active church in the midst of a highly transient community south of Washington, D.C. We seek to minister to people of all ages and stages of life, but have attracted a large number of young families from our immediate surrounding area.
Ebenezer has a reputation for meaningful worship services that are spiritually authentic and culturally relevant; outstanding programs for children and youth that teach the fundamentals of Christian living, including a weekday preschool program; relevant classes and small groups that offer opportunities for people to form meaningful relationships; and a heart for mission and ministries that speak to human hurts and hopes and reach out into the community and the world.
Ebenezer attracts a variety of people with different levels of spiritual maturity and Biblical knowledge. We work to create a process that can allow anyone to grow no matter what his or her level of understanding and experience might be.
